Dear Fellow Citizens
      49th District

A note from Brad Taylor:

I believe that the issues, challenges and resources of our diverse community must be the focus of this campaign, and not whether someone is a Democratic, Republican or Independent candidate.

I am a registered Republican, but I am running for 49th Assembly because I believe in our community and envision that we can work together to make it a better place to live, work, educate our children and enjoy life.

I invite you to spend some time on this web site to understand what I see as the major issues of the 49th Assembly District and some of the specific ideas I have to help foster economic and social improvements. My main stance is that we can work together to create a district which will reflect the beauty of the San Gabriel Valley and its history.

We don't accomplish anything in this world alone ... and whatever happens is the result of the whole tapestry of one's life and all the weavings of individual threads from one to another that creates something.
— Sandra Day O'Connor

Genuine politics — even politics worthy of the name —the only politics I am willing to devote myself to -- is simply a matter of serving those around us: serving the community and serving those who will come after us. Its deepest roots are moral because it is a responsibility expressed through action, to and for the whole.
—Vaclav Havel, playwright.

In this election you have a choice

My view is that Mike Eng is a labor union crony, pro-tax liberal, who consistently votes against the business interests of his own constituency. More about our differences.

I am a fiscal conservative, pro-business, anti-tax, proponent of free enterprise and sensible conservation of the environment. More about Brad Taylor.

Your vote and participation in this election will make a difference in the direction of our district for the next couple of years. Please contact us to volunteer.

I am dedicated to providing the vision and leadership necessary for the 49th district to recover and thrive.
